Privacy Policy

Introduction

Positive Parenting Productions, operated by 11165437 Canada Incorporated ("we", "our", or "us"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile applications and website.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

We may collect information that you voluntarily provide when using our apps or contacting us, including:

  • Name and email address (when you contact us)
  • Feedback and correspondence

Automatically Collected Information

When you use our applications, we may automatically collect certain information, including:

  • Device type, model, and operating system version
  • App usage data and interaction patterns
  • Crash logs and performance data
  • General location (country or region level, derived from IP address)
  • Advertising identifiers (where permitted — see Advertising and Tracking section below)

Advertising and Tracking (Mobile Apps)

Some of our mobile applications display advertisements to support free access. To deliver and measure these ads, we use third-party advertising technology, including Google AdMob (provided by Google LLC) and Apple's SKAdNetwork.

What advertising data is collected

When advertising is enabled in our apps, the following information may be collected and processed:

  • Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) — a unique device identifier used to measure ad performance and personalize advertising. We only collect this if you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.
  • Device information — device model, operating system version, language, and approximate location (country/region from IP).
  • Ad interaction data — which ads were displayed, viewed, or tapped.
  • SKAdNetwork attribution data — privacy-preserving install attribution data sent directly to Apple, with no user-level tracking.

App Tracking Transparency

In compliance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, our apps will request your permission before tracking your activity across other companies' apps or websites for advertising purposes. You can grant or deny this permission when first prompted, and you can change your decision at any time in your device Settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking.

If you deny tracking permission:

  • We do not collect or share your IDFA with advertisers.
  • You will still see advertisements, but they will not be personalized based on cross-app tracking.
  • SKAdNetwork attribution may still operate as it does not identify individual users.

Google AdMob

When you interact with advertisements served via Google AdMob, Google collects and processes data as described in Google's Privacy Policy and Google AdMob's privacy disclosure. This processing is governed by Google's policies, not ours.

You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites or apps that use their services at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

In-App Purchases

Our apps may offer in-app purchases processed through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. Apple handles all payment processing and stores purchase records associated with your Apple ID. We receive only anonymized aggregate information about purchases. We do not collect or store your payment method, billing address, or Apple ID.

You can manage and review your in-app purchases through your Apple ID account settings.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our applications
  • Display advertisements (in ad-supported apps) and measure ad performance
  • Respond to your inquiries and support requests
  • Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve user experience
  • Diagnose technical issues and fix bugs
  • Comply with legal obligations

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Advertising Partners: In our ad-supported apps, advertising identifiers and limited device information may be shared with Google AdMob to deliver and measure advertisements, subject to your App Tracking Transparency choice.
  • Service Providers: We may share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our apps (e.g., analytics providers), subject to confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.
  • Safety: We may disclose information to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.

Third-Party Services

Our apps may use third-party services that collect information. These third-party services have their own privacy policies and we encourage you to review them. These may include:

  • Apple App Store services — purchase processing, app distribution, SKAdNetwork attribution, and anonymous App Analytics provided by Apple
  • Google AdMob — advertising delivery and measurement (in ad-supported apps)
  • Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — consent management for advertising in regions where consent is required (such as the EEA, UK, and Switzerland). UMP allows you to grant, deny, or update your advertising consent choices at any time through the in-app privacy options.

Data Retention

We retain your information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Advertising data is retained according to the policies of the respective advertising platforms (e.g., Google AdMob).

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Our apps are designed for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

In compliance with Apple's App Store guidelines, our ad-supported apps do not deliberately serve advertisements to known child audiences.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Opt out of personalized advertising (via Apple's App Tracking Transparency settings on your device, and — for EEA/UK users — via the "Manage Privacy Choices" option within the app's About screen)

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us via the contact form linked below.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our apps after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
